Dubai Racing Club held a tribute to a group of former employees of the Dubai Horse Racing Information Center (DHRIC) and Al Adiyat Magazine, now Adiyat Racing Plus, honouring their efforts and contributions over the last three decades to the success of both organisations.
DHRIC and Al Adiyat Magazine contributed significantly behind the scenes towards the growth of racing in the UAE through its long-running magazine that continues to extend the same comprehensive coverage of the past in a completely new avatar, as Adiyat Racing Plus, which is now run under the purview of Dubai Racing Club.
Over the years, DHRIC played a key role in organising Pick Six competitions at various racecourses across the UAE, which was a big hit and attracted massive audiences at race meetings.
The ex-employees of DHRIC were felicitated during the second Dubai Racing Carnival meeting at Meydan Racecourse on Friday night, with Major General Dr. Mohammed Issa Al Adhab, Member of the Board of Directors and Executive Director of the Dubai Racing Club, presenting the group of 10 with mementoes.
The employees presented with tokens of appreciation were Issa Hassan Al Bishr, Abdel Fattah Ismail, Muhammad Abdel Qader Muhammad, Siraj Al Din Mahmoud, Adel Muhammad Karam, Jamal Hassan Fouda, Muhammad Imran Muhammad, Muhammad Qasim Sahib, Syed Muhammad Shihab Al Din and Muhammad Afzal Adavat.
